The Deluxe Double Room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. It had a big TV and kept nice and warm, which was great. The blackout curtains worked perfectly—no light seeping in. Surprisingly minimal noise from the main road too, which I wasn’t expecting. Slept really well!

Room had a musty smell, mattress springs were too pronounced for comfort, making sleep a bit of a chore. The TV didn’t function properly and the bathroom door looked like it had seen better days with chipped wood. The constant sound of traffic from the nearby road, especially with windows open, detracted from the overall experience. For £96 a night, some might find the overall condition a bit rough around the edges. perhaps a refresh would do wonders. Breakfast not available until 9am may not suit early risers.

Absolutely loved the comfy bed, super powerful shower, and the cozy atmosphere. I found the couple running this place to be lovely and welcoming, truly turning the place around! My stay felt incredibly relaxing.
